The Secret Lives of Karaoke Jockeys

It may seem like your KJs were born on the stage, incubated in a karaoke box, sung lullabies of Wonderwall and Zombie by a drunk Bachelorette Momma, weaned on Rock'n'Roll and Pop music, and have spent their whole lives working the mixer and reassuring people that their turn is coming up. This is true, but on top of that, the Ronson's KJ team have other tricks up their proverbial sleeves. Without giving anyone away, our team includes three rock stars, two filmmakers, a painter and folk singer, a farmer, a DJ / producer / muscian, a tattoo artist and a noise / performance / video artist. And one of our KJs is revealing his secret rockstar identity this Thursday at GAYHOLE! Here's a hint:

A good song does not necessarily mean a good karaoke song. For example, "Bohemian Rhapsody"—a musical masterpiece, but that's what makes it extremely hard to pull off. And you might enjoy thrash metal or broadway musicals at home, but in a party setting, they're instant mood killers.
